14 Belavia's Minsk-Kiev flights per week agreed.
Ukrainian aviation authorities have officially permitted the Belarusian air carrier Belavia - Belarusian Airlines to perform as many flights between Minsk and Kiev as requested, the company's press service told the media.
“We have obtained an official permission to perform 14 flights per week between Minsk and Kiev,” said the company.
Apart from that, Ukraine International Airlines and Belavia have extended the existing code-sharing agreement that will allow the two air carriers to operate flights together.
The media quoted Vladimir Kostin, Director of the Aviation Department of the Belarusian Transport and Communications Ministry, as saying the previous week that the sides had reached a verbal agreement.
On 27 March the Belarusian air carrier Belavia stated that the company lacked the permit of Ukrainian aviation authorities for flights to Ukraine although the relevant application had been filed on time. Later on the Ukrainian aviation authorities decided to allow 14 flights per week between Minsk and Kiev till 14 April 2015. The sides were supposed to come to terms on flights between Minsk and Kiev by that date.
