U.N. human rights monitors say there is growing evidence of Russian military involvement in the war in Ukraine. The U.N. human rights monitoring mission in Ukraine has just launched its 10th report on the situation in Ukraine, covering the period from February 16 to May 15.
Russia denies its soldiers are fighting in eastern Ukraine, and it says those fighting with pro-Russian rebels are volunteers. Since Ukrainian armed forces captured two Russians last month, the Kremlin has refused to acknowledge them as members of the regular Russian army.
But U.N. Assistant Secretary-General for Human Rights Ivan Simonovic said monitors who interviewed the Russian soldiers in private on May 21 reached a different conclusion.
"There is increasing evidence that active servicemen from Russian Federation may be operating in Ukraine," said Simonovic. Huaynaputina (Hujnaputina) is een vulkaan, niet een politiek standpunt
Het blijkt dat in de zuidelijke Peru heeft een grote vulkaan genoemd Huaynaputina-(Hujnaputina).

The enemy will keep conducting hostilities at the tactical level while the front of these attacks will be expanded. The aim of the attacks will be the Ukrainian bridgeheads around Donetsk. The enemy will determine one or two points for assaults in each sector of defense of the Armed Forces to pin our troops and prevent the forces from committing maneuvers. It's a war of attrition.
Putin is interested to use the constantly smoldering military conflict for the continuation of political pressure on Ukraine. Such war does not raise sharp protests of the world's diplomacy. Patriarch Kirill has left Kyiv with little choice by officially declaring (on May 24) that the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate is no longer obligated to obey the "godless" Ukrainian authorities. Such a pronouncement is a direct challenge to Ukrainian sovereignty and an indication of just how important Russian control of Ukraine is for the Moscow Patriarchate and for the Kremlin.
If the Moscow Patriarchate is successful in promoting this point of view among the roughly one-fifth of Ukrainians who are currently part of its faith community—a group roughly twice as large as those who backed the EuroMaidan demonstrations initially—Moscow will be in a position to block Kyiv's moves toward Europe regardless of what happens on the battlefield.
