Naftogaz to seek compensation from Russia for Crimean assets in international arbitration
Naftogaz/Ukraine recognizes damage done by RF invaders and agressors , and want compensation for damage done so far, but wants property of Ukraine back. It doens't recognizes annexation.
RF already lost the gas-war (for now) with which they planned to put thumbscrews on Ukraine and will have to pay the near 3 billion from int. arbitration, the 7.4 billion courtcase which was waved by Ukraine, was just for possible lost transit after 2019, so Ukraine can gather that amount from transit itself in the coming years. For Crimea/occupied little part of Donbass courtcase may be up to 1-2 $ trillion over time, while RF funds total are just half or quarter of that.
