Crazy that this is getting barely any coverage. This year's European Press Prize was just awarded to an investigative report by the Dutch newspaper De Volkskrant. It is entitled "What the Wounds Tell" and in it the journalists Maud Effting and Willem Feenstra document the cases of 114 children in Gaza under the age of 15 who were struck by a single bullet to the head or chest. Almost all of them died or were left severely disabled. They chose to document only the cases of boys and girls under the age of 15 (though often much younger: aged 3, 4 or 7) because these are children who can be immediately identified as such. "A single bullet in these parts of the body is a clear indication that these children were deliberately targeted", the two journalists write.

Мы привыкли к школьному мифу о «тысячелетней истории» и «исконно едином народе». Но если отбросить имперскую пропаганду и посмотреть на сухие факты, картина оказывается шокирующей. Современный исторический нарратив — это искусственная конструкция, где потомки угнетенных присвоили себе историю своих же угнетателей.
Давайте разберем этот подлог на двух фундаментальных уровнях: лингвистическом и социологическом.
### 🛑 1. Языковой миф: «древнерусского языка» не существовало
Нам говорят, что предки говорили на одном языке. Это историческая нелепость. До принятия христианства на территории Северо-Восточной Руси единого языка просто не было в природе:
 * **Коренное население** (меря, мурома, чудь, мещера, голядь) говорило на десятках разных финно-угорских и балтских языков.
 * **Правящая элита** (Рюриковичи) говорила на скандинавских языках.
 * **А откуда взялся письменный язык?** То, что выдают за «язык предков» (на котором написаны летописи) — это старославянский (церковнославянский) язык. Это искусственная разработка! В IX веке его сконструировали в Византии греки Кирилл и Мефодий на базе македонского диалекта южных славян.
Этот язык был завезен на территорию Руси как «славянская латынь» — исключительно для церкви и княжеских указов. Простые люди в быту на нем не разговаривали. Современный русский язык — это не голос предков, а результат многовековой принудительной ассимиляции, когда финно-угры и балты переходили на насаждаемый сверху византийский церковный стандарт.
### 🛑 2. Внутренняя колонизация: синдром заложника
Современное население гордится Петром I, Екатериной II и дворцами Петербурга. Но здесь кроется главная ловушка.
Подавляющее большинство населения царской России было бесправными крепостными. Европейская, часто инородная по происхождению элита (дворянство) относилась к ним не как к согражданам, а как к колонизируемому ресурсу. We have become accustomed to the school myth of "thousand-year history" and "forever one nation". But if you reject imperial propaganda and look at the dry facts, the picture turns out to be shocking. A modern historical narrative is an artificial structure where the descendants of the oppressed have appropriated the history of their own oppressors.
