New documents have surfaced revealing new details about Israel's conduct during the 1948 War in which it ethnically cleansed 750,000 Palestinians from their homes.

The documents confirm Israeli leaders carried out more war crimes & premeditated massacres than previously thought.

A July 1948 order was sent to Israeli commanders in the north titled, "conduct in captured villages where there is a population." The order stipulated that:

▶️ After an Arab village was captured, identification certificates were to be issued to the inhabitants. If someone transferred their certificate to another person, both were to be shot.

▶️ If someone did not report on time for military inspection, they were to be shot and their home was to be blown up.

▶️ If an "outside Arab" was found in a village, he was to be shot immediately.

▶️ In general, the rule was to shoot "every 10th man" in a captured village where outsiders were found.

▶️ All the men in any household in which property stolen from Jews was found were to be executed.

▶️ In Arab a-Zabah, a Bedouin community in the Lower Galilee, another order stated: "every Arab among the Zabahim is to be killed."

▶️ Another July 1948 order instructed troops to mount a search for Arabs who might have hidden in the Mount Turan area of the Lower Galilee, after the site had already been conquered. The order was: "Kill anyone who is hiding."

▶️ Another order read: "Arabs in a small number are wandering about in the [captured] villages ... the area is to be cleansed of Arabs ... every Arab who will be met with is to be annihilated."

Het wettelijk minimumjeugdloon in Nederland geldt vanaf 15 tot 21 jaar en wordt elk half jaar (1 januari/1 juli) aangepast. 17 jaar: 73% - 76% van het volwassen loon

België: Het algemene minimumloon (onbelast) behoort tot de hoogste van de EU. Jongeren bereiken vaak al op 18-jarige leeftijd het volledige (volwassen) minimumloon, dat met ca. € 2.154 in 2026 erg hoog is.

Duitsland: Kent een wettelijk minimumloon voor werknemers vanaf 18 jaar, wat vaak hoger uitpakt dan de lagere staffels in de Nederlandse jeugdloontabel,  per 1 januari 2026 stijgt naar €13,90


Frankrijk: De SMIC (wettelijk minimumloon) is de basis, met vaak lagere percentages voor jongeren onder de 18 (afhankelijk van ervaring
 Vanaf 1 januari 2026 is de SMIC € 12,02 bruto per uur, wat neerkomt op ca. € 1.823,03 bruto per maand bij 35 uur
Uitzonderingen (lager loon): Voor minderjarigen (onder de 18) en stagiaires gelden uitzonderingen.
< 17 jaar: Mag tot 20% minder dan de SMIC worden betaald.
17-18 jaar: Mag tot 10% minder dan de SMIC worden betaald.
Stagiaires: Stagiaires krijgen een "stagevergoeding" (gratification) die alleen verplicht is bij stages langer dan 2 maanden. Het minimumtarief hiervoor is vaak lager dan de reguliere SMIC.

De stelling dat het verdwijnen van religieuze overtuigingen de kans op oorlog volledig wegneemt, is een vereenvoudiging van de complexe oorzaken van menselijk conflict. Hoewel Dick Swaab, neurobioloog en auteur van Wij zijn ons brein, religie en de daaraan verbonden groepsidentiteit vaak bekritiseert als bron van conflicten en onwetenschappelijke dogma's, wijzen historici en sociologen op meer fundamentele drijfveren achter oorlogen.

Hieronder volgt een nuancering van dit standpunt:
Religie als factor, niet de enige oorzaak: Onderzoek toont aan dat slechts een relatief klein percentage (schattingen liggen vaak rond de 7%) van de historisch gedocumenteerde oorlogen primair door religie is veroorzaakt. Religie wordt vaak gebruikt om een conflict te legitimeren of groepsgeest te versterken, maar is zelden de enige aanleiding.
Andere hoofdoorzaken: De meerderheid van de oorlogen wordt gedreven door geopolitieke belangen, machtsstrijd, toegang tot hulpbronnen (olie, water, land), economische belangen en nationalisme.
Seculiere conflicten: De geschiedenis laat zien dat seculiere of ideologische regimes (zoals in de 20e eeuw) ook tot massaal geweld en genocides kunnen leiden, waarbij religie geen rol speelde.
Religie als pacificator: Religieuze overtuiging kan soms juist een reden zijn om geweld te weigeren of vrede te stichten, en fungeert niet uitsluitend als bron van conflict.
De aard van de mens: Volgens diverse historici is geweld een constante factor, en zouden mensen, als ze niet over religie vechten, conflicten aangaan over politiek, grondstoffen of ideologieën.

Samenvattend: Hoewel het verminderen van religieus fanatisme de spanningen in bepaalde regio's kan verlagen, wijzen de feiten erop dat religievrijheid niet gelijkstaat aan een oorlogsvrije wereld. Conflict lijkt eerder geworteld in de menselijke neiging tot groepsdenken, territoriumdrift en machtsstrijd.

In 2004 schreef ik in toenmalig VARA debatplaats dat er maar 1 goede manier is: een papieren aanvraag  die ze doen bij ambassade/consultaat (buur)land naast de al bestaande voor legale migranten, want het zijn in feite allemaal illegalen(meestal gooien ze hun papieren ook weg) , dus geen rubberbootjes, geen opvang hier of elders, geen asieladvocaten geen VON, betekent ook geen illegalen hier, en vooral geen verdienmodel zowel voor links als rechts. Ik krege toen vele reacties van vluchtelingen,asielzoekers en NIeuwRechts grinik, die vonden dat veel beter. Wie waren er tegen uiteraard diegenen die achter dat verdienmodel zaten zowel links als rechts.
