I know there are decent folks from Luhansk and Donetsk who fight in our army...Of course I believe there are decent, adequate people in Donbas, I've seen many of them and befriended them...The fact that, there are reasonable people, doesn't diminish the zombiefied masses, incapable of using what they have on their shoulders...Having the experience of living next to towns and villages in Donbas, I've seen a lot of things that shocked me. For example: I've seen a man who brought his wife to soldiers and offered them to "use" her in exchange for food; a woman-prostitute offered herself for сanned meat; in one of the villages we cought more drug dealers, than there are in the city where I live. There are a lot of sad cases, and I wouldn't want to talk about them all. Of course not all the locals are like that, many of them helped us, fed us, brought us warm clothes, gave rooms to sleepover. But after all, people like that are a smaller minority...We have lost Donbas, because we've lost its people. I wouldn't mind if the borders of Ukraine will remain as they are, If i'd be sure that this will be enough for Putin. But as we've experienced countless times before, these "guys" don't recognize any ceasefire agreements, they are not determined to stop the war, which means that its too early for us to relax.
I'm not fighting to return Donbas, because I don't believe fairy tales - considering the way things are, its virtually impossible. I fight to stop further.expansion of russian disease. Because, the further it spreads, the more deaths, tears and grief it brings. And I don't wish that to my country."

Every day Belarus is taking concrete measures to improve relations with the EU and the US, which may not be visible at first sight, Foreign Minister of Belarus Vladimir Makei said in an interview to the TV channel "Belarus 1", commenting on the President's state-of-the-nation address.
"It is possible to build the future of the European continent only on the basis of cooperation. We are ready to contribute to the realization of this idea as much as we can. Ministry of Foreign Affairs (of Belarus - note) is making significant steps in this direction," - said Vladimir Makei.
Alongside formal cooperation, informal work with US and European partners is also underway, the official added. At the same time he pointed out that the Belarusian side adheres only to the national interests, not agreeing to be influenced by powerful political forces, such as Washington or Moscow.
Belarus is now being recognised as a centre of stability, not conflicts.
"Today the principles of dialogue and partnership prevail in our contacts with Europe and the United States. We are working on the number of concrete measures that are very important both to Belarus and to our foreign partners" - said Vladimir Makei.
