But please go ahead and post a different opinion, i.e. why Europe will be able to cope with million(s) of predominantly Muslim, young, aggressive, male, likely poorly educated refugees.
This is also not what Cohen seems to have been saying. He was not referring to the sex nor the age of the refugees as being the problem for Europe, but rather to the fact that these people are of a very different civilization than that of the Europeans. It's the inability of Europe to absorb so many people who are culturally, and in terms of mentality, very different from Europeans (or, at least from Germans or the Swedes) that he is warning about. They will not be assimilated into European countries without major social instability (due to, again, the sheer numbers of them)
And honestly I would agree with him because, as much as we like to look at ourselves as "the same" (the common "we are one" perspective), I think we tend to forget the fact that regardless of our relatively identical genetics, our cultural differences could be so extensive that they inevitably and irrevocably affect how we behave with one another. Perhaps cultures are all equally respectable, but they are not the same, and they certainly cannot be so easily eliminated or forgotten in the midst of utopian rhetoric advocating "the unity of mankind" (most notable is the "we're all African" propaganda) -- all of which imply that we ought to put aside our cultural differences and "come together" in some perfect, almost childlike, world.

I have said it before and will say it again.This refugee rush is an open invasion by Muslims into Europe.Given a few years those that settle into Germany,France and other countries will not want to return home,rather they will want their new homes to become like the counties they left.The cost will be outlawing of European heritage and customs in favour of Muslim culture.So, why should those Arabian countries interfere when the refugees will do all the work at a 10th of the cost ,which will be funded by the receiving countries and 'good willed' overseas charities. Think about it,they have created a situation where the Christians will be funding a Muslim invasion and destruction of Christendom from within each Nation.!! Ask those countries that have allowed Muslims to have their own police(the regular can't go there for fear of racial reprisal and warned off because of religious customs about women)and the Muslims command whole streets for prayer ,speak only their own language,have their own schools and disregard the law of the land.By sheer numbers intimidate the local population to leave.Have no knowledge of the history or requirements to be legal citizens of the country they inhabit(invade). Why is it mostly men who are trying to cross the borders? Why are they not in a militia to fight Isis and the rogue warlords who need to be destroyed ? Forget the humanitarian aspect as that will be far worse once the Muslims take over the European Union countries.
