The Al-Hadath (Arabic: الحدث‎) is an Arabic weekly newspaper in Amman, Jordan.[1] The name "Al-Hadath" can be roughly translated as "the event".

The website is known for spreading news of questionable nature without any supporting evidence. A recent example for 2020 is on 08 January 2020 when the Ukraine International Airlines Flight 752 crashed Al-Hadath reported that the black box indicated that the plane came to a sudden stop and exploded. At the time of publishing this news here was no official source which had released facts, statements or could confirm this.[2][3]
