UN involved in peace
P5 in UNSC espec. USA, China and Russia block ANY peacegetting and peacekeeping, so all vetopowers should be removed from UNSC.      European Union member states form the single largest sum of contributions at approximately 38 percent of the regular budget and 40 percent of peacekeeping, while USA doesn't pay its full obligation. What the oil nations, China, South Korea pays is laughable low...so reform is sure needed, also the NO PAY , NO SAY in GA (vetopowers should be abolished) and seeing #EU pays that much perhaps its wiser to move UN to EU, perhaps Netherlands?

Seeing 40% of UN budget (and peacekeeping) is payed by EU (nearly double of USA) and rich oil islam states nearly nothing...UN needs reform, first of all no more vetopowers in UNSC only majority vote. Besides that USA is paying only part of its agreed part to make UN more USAUN, so perhaps UN should be moved to EU (Netherlands 　 ) and every country should pay a % of its income, and countries sending peacekeepers shouldn't also pay for that. For all institutions there should be 2 rules: NO veto, and NO PAY, NO SAY

btw UN can only handle if the P5 approve and fund it...so thats USA, CHina, russia and UK and France...so far members incl. USA owe UN still 3.5 billion, EU pays 40% of budget UN and all peacekeeping operations, USA never pays its full agreed share, neither do rich oil-states...

"The law understandably caused trouble with Ukrainian patriotic opposition due to such provisions as a broad amnesty to "participants of the events in Donetsk and Luhansk regions." Other controversial provisions are the extended status of Russian language as well as cross-border cooperation with local authorities of Russian border communities. Another point of content is the provision for "local militia units" created by local councils. On one hand, this sure looks like legitimizing DNR and LNR terrorists. On the other hand, a "militia" member should be a citizen of Ukraine and a resident of the community in question, meaning mercenaries from Russia wouldn't be able to stay.
In March 2015, after the so-called "Minsk II" which defined a road map towards peace in Ukraine, the "special governance" law was amended to the effect that most of its provisions would come into force only after local elections under Ukrainian law and monitored by international observers would take place. This angered the "rebels" and the Kremlin, ostensibly because it allowed for little to none Moscow control over occupied Donbas. A year after the law (itself limited by three years) was passed, the elections in question (that would have to include Ukrainian nationalist parties) are still to take place. Under Minsk agreement, the constitutional reform also comes after pulling out foreign troops from Donbas and return of border control to Ukraine.
Bottom line
The decentralization reform proposed by Poroshenko's administration has its merits and drawbacks.
The main controversy is the special law for Donbas counties' governance provided for in the Constitution.
The law in question has controversial provisions like amnesty and "local militias" but will not come into effect before Ukrainian border control is restored, Russian troops pull out and elections under Ukrainian law take place. It is currently to remain in force for two more years
The administration claims the reform is in line with Maidan demands and Minsk agreement
The opposition believes the "special status law" amounts to capitulation before the Kremlin under international pressure."

Problem is the decentralisation paper is not read well, YES it has its drawbacks but also its positive points, espec. that it makes RUSSIA the enemy which doesn't hold to Minsk Agreement, and that decentralization and special status ONLY come in effect WHEN Ukraine has again full military control of border In Luhansk/Donetsk occupied area, AND all foreign troops and weapons are AWAY from that area...so only LOCAL separatists with Ukrainian pasports and nationality MAY STAY and not any russian puppets may stay.even the socalled goverments have to go...or they should apply for Ukrainian citizenship, and then they can be prosecuted under Ukrainian law.  So this is not Maidan, or done by nationalists like Right Sector, this is provocation by a single member of Sich battalion who happens to be a right sector member or sympatizer. We don't blame all russians for war in Ukraine, only Putin and his goons.

Poroshenko is a clever businessman, not a politician, who entered elections and became president. Entering elections was his own descion and that meant he put his personal interest aside for the good of Ukraine. Businessman set targets they want to reach, so sometimes their actions may not be seen as logical, but he did become a oligarch before..so I support him following all his actions and statements. A politician would have behaved a lot different, and would have lost already.
