In 1980 I drew up a plan for Earth-villages just connected by railways max. approx. 25.000 inhabitants each and not off but in-grid with others around the world, a total reshape of (financial) system , in which both power and money would be completly centralized on a cooperative base in which vegatables would be eaten like in 50's seasonbound (like nature intended) and in which war and politics, multinationals as nowadays would be found ineffective and inefficient.. Between my 10th-23 th I was leader from a group of 40 youth of part of my village, aged down to 4, which like a herd were kept in the middle, call it my natural authorithy what was the trick , and was as caretaker/father/mother a important part for total of 65 youths, not bad for a single men, and in fact I was a lazy one, defined the borders, and if not met, the worst sentence they could get was sent from group outside on street back to parents, where a certain punishment would come. Years later when council appointed taskforce, social workers for youth on rampage I asked council, you talk about youth, anyone bothered to talk with them? Nope, so I did..and all went better. Never knew if I did lead youth to their liking, and then I met some from that earliest group and they said to their (grand)children look thats Cees that man I told you all those stories about, who gave us such a fine youth and kept us from harms way, and the (grand)child looked at me with a face of near admiration. Then I knew I did it the right way, even if it was my way smile-emoticon
