In Syria NATO at the start and can still force a no-fly zone, that had would have  saved 500,000 deaths and 4 million refugees at the start. Syria did not exist at the beginning of 1900, is composed by French from Shia (Alawite) State of Alawite and the Sunni states of Damascus and State of Allepo. Is a stupid thing for a shia minority to rule over a sunni majority. Assad and the Russians can be exiled to the state of Alawite and the former state of Damascus / Allepo will become the new sunni Syria without Assad.
Then all refugees can go back to their country, and the countries besides Assad themselves that have destroyed Syria: Saudi Arabian Gulf states (ISIS / Daesh), Russia and Iran have to pay the bill for building up, partly by exploiting pipelines to Europe.
And most to blame is the UNSC full of warmongers and bad descisions and ofc those fu**ng vetorights.
