There is no such thing as 'Jewish Supremacy.'

The identity of a Jew is not racial, ethnical or national.

It's purely based on religion.

The idea that Jews are anything besides a religious group was first introduced by two groups: Zionists and Nazis.

It was written by an IDF reservist and published anonymously. It details some of the horrors of the Israeli death/torture camp Sde Teiman, and the active role Israeli media plays in concealing them.

The immediate context is the airing of an investigative report about Sde Teiman as part of a fairly well-known Israeli TV program ("Real Time").

'I was nervous this week, ahead of the airing of a "Real Time" investigation on Sde Teiman, where I was drafted as a reservist during the war. I wondered what would happen when the entire country heard about the systematic abuse of detainees there, with the knowledge of all the senior officials. This is also the reason I interviewed for the program: I felt that all of Israeli society must know about it. But that's not what was on the broadcast.
In the end, I wasn't in it either.

"True Time" did not present the public with the truth, only with parts of the truth. A filtered truth, which is perhaps even worse than a lie. The investigation focused mainly on the question of whether "Power 100" did indeed push something up the detainee's buttocks and the way in which the event turned, with the help of cynical politicians, into a near-armed rebellion against the rule of law.

I understand why they chose to focus on this event, which was a turning point in the military's perception of ,. Voices like those of the interviewees who said that "our soldiers should not be punished" are the basis for the dissolution of a society, which, without preserving humanity will be emptied of morality, and without upholding the law, will turn into chaos. But the discussion that took place on the program was shameful, because while it focused on the specific case, it deliberately – and knowingly – ignored the context in which it occurred. The overall morbid picture that is Sde Teiman.

Sde Teiman, as everyone who was there knows, is a sadistic torture camp. Dozens of prisoners entered it alive and left in bags. There are testimonies from guards, doctors, and prisoners. None of this was mentioned in the investigation. As if all the hell we created there was summed up in the question of whether or not an object was inserted into a prisoner's buttocks. But I saw this hell.

I saw a detainee die before my eyes – he was sitting next to other detainees, with a flannelette over his face, and at some point we just realized that the man was dead. I saw the commander of the facility gather everyone and try to calm down the daily routine of abuse, the psychological use of force, and the barbaric conditions in which the prisoners are held. I heard him explain that "they tell me from above that they call Sde Teiman a cemetery," and that "this needs to stop."

I saw people enter this facility with war injuries, then starve for weeks without any medical care. I saw them peeing and shitting on themselves because they weren't allowed to go to the bathroom. I remember the smell to this day. Many of them weren't even Hamas terrorists, just Gazans who were detained pending interrogation and released to their homes after severe abuse, when it turned out they were innocent. It's no wonder people died there. The wonder is that people survived.

The "Real Time" investigators were shocked when I told them this, but there was no mention of it in the program. What was it? The person in charge of the investigation at the MPI is dumbfounded that "until that moment" - that is, until the report of one prisoner, wounded and bleeding - "we had no warning signs." Really? After all, there were reports and testimonies of abuse, inhumane conditions, and poor medical care. It was enough to listen, or just count the detainees who entered alive and did not make it out. You don't have to be Sherlock Holmes [to fill in the blanks, A.M.].

Everyone who was in Sde Teiman knows. They know about torture, about surgeries without anesthesia, about shocking sanitary conditions. But none of this was broadcast. As if an army torture camp, which exists with the knowledge of all the senior commanders, is less interesting than a story about one specific abuse, which can be refuted or verified. This is an entire program about Sde Teiman, without talking about the Sde Teiman.

What happened in Sde Teiman is no secret, but most Israelis know nothing about it, even now, because the Israeli media has almost completely ignored it. That's also why I chose to be interviewed. Because Palestinians continue to come out of our detention facilities in droves, and most people around me haven't heard about it.

But more than revealing to the public the truth about the reality in Sde Teiman, the broadcast made it clear how it might continue.

The reason is that journalists in Israel, who are well aware of the facts, prefer to hide them and instead sell a specific, isolated story about 'bad seeds'. Tijdens Operation Protective Edge in 2014 gingen er geluiden op dat Hamas burgers in Gaza had geadviseerd om niet aan de oproep van de IDF om de huizen te verlaten, te voldoen. Maar daar waren goede redenen voor. Als burgers onbeschermd over de straat liepen waren ze immers kanonnenvoer voor IDF snipers en eenmaal aangekomen op schuilplaatsen waren ze ook niet veilig want die werden vaak gebombardeerd door Israel.

Het Internationale Gerechtshof verwees het 'human shielding' argument onlangs dan ook (impliciet) naar het rijk der fabelen.

En wat betreft de opmerking over de schuilkelders; als Hamas burgers in de tunnels zou toelaten zou dat (!) kunnen worden bestempeld als 'human shielding'. Daarnaast zou Israel, zelfs als burgers zouden schuilen in de tunnels, nog steeds die tunnels bombarderen. Daartoe beschikt het over de vereiste wapens en moreel deinst het daar niet voor terug. Genocide plegers hebben geen moraliteit.  Dit is bijvoorbeeld reden waarom Libanon nooit heeft overwogen, bij de heropbouw van gebombardeerde wijken, om schuilkelders te bouwen. Israel bombardeert ze toch, 'no matter what'. 

Zelfs Nazis verweten hun slachtoffer overigens, zover ik weet, niet dat ze te weinig zorg besteedden aan bescherming van hun burgers. Ga uw schamen, heer Plasterk. 

Maar het wordt nog veel erger. De ENIGE partij in dit conflict waarvan is BEWEZEN dan het Palestijnen als menselijke schilden heeft gebruikt is Israel. However, in Judaism, unlike many other religions, not everyone in the world is obligated to follow the same set of commandments. Judaism believes that Noah's covenant with G-d in Genesis 9 established the 7 "Noahide Laws" that all humanity must follow.

About 800 years later, an additional (not "new") covenant of 613 commandments, called the Torah, was offered by G-d at Mt. Sinai to the people whom Moses led out of Egypt, who willingly accepted it (per Exodus 19). Jewish tradition teaches that not only the assembled at Mt. Sinai accept the Torah, but also many as-yet unborn souls. Those souls are identifiable when they are born because they will be born to Jewish mothers. Anyone not born to a Jewish mother can accept the Torah at will. This covenant created not only a new relationship between G-d and His new "recruits," but also between the recruits themselves. It created a collective - an "umah" - the Jews. The obligation to fulfill the Torah is what makes someone Jewish. Those who have to fulfill the 7 Noahide laws are non-Jews.

This is why Judaism does not proselytize. Unlike other religions, you do not have to be Jewish to serve G-d. Non-Jews also serve G-d through the 7 Noahide laws, and they have no obligation to accept the Torah in toto if they choose not to. Non-Jews do not burn in Hell according to the Torah. On the contrary, they get rewarded in the Afterlife for fulfilling the 7 Noahide laws. (However, as is often the case, reward is commensurate with responsibility, so Jews who fulfill their obligations get more reward.) 

So the first religious category in Judaism, in which the word "Jew" is included, refers to *obligations*. Those who are obligated to fulfill 613 commandments are Jews even if they do not fulfill them and even if they do not believe they are obligated. This is why we call atheist Jews Jews. In Judaism, Jews who convert to another religion are called Jews as well for the same reason. According to the Torah, they are still obligated to fulfill the 613.

However, there is a second religious classification, which describes the standing of those who are obligated to fulfill the Torah. Here we have words such as צדיק (pious), רשע (wicked), and כופר ("kofer" i.e. denier). A kofer denies the Torah, i.e. he does not believe he is bound to it. Atheists are kofrim in Judaism, and indeed being in this category puts one outside the Jewish collective. Although Jews are enjoined to get them to repent and to accept Judaism, because they are still obligated to fulfill the Torah, so long as they choose not to, they have the same Judaic status as non-Jews. Their being Jewish means they are obligated to fulfill the 613, not just the 7 Noahide laws. If they repent, we accept them with open arms. But so long as they choose not to, they are treated for all other practical purposes as non-Jews.

Caveat: Nowadays, many kofrim don't even know what Judaism is (e.g. many think it is Zionism!). Their denial is not deliberate but accidental (if someone thinks Judaism means Zionism, can you blame him for not wanting to be Jewish??). Such a person is still a denier, but not a purposeful one. Their status is a bit more complex and beyond the scope of this post.

Important caveat: This is just a Twitter-sized explanation, designed as a general idea of why we call atheist Jews Jews. It is not designed to be a full-blown explication on the subject.

THERE HAS BEEN NO INDEPENDANT COUNTRY KNOWN AS ISRAEL PRIOR TO 1948.
TIMELINE:

IN ANTIQUITY:
• In antiquity, there were the Kingdom of Israel and the Kingdom of Judah in the land historically called Canaan/Palestine. These states disappeared after successive conquests by Assyria and Babylon.

AFTER ANTIQUITY:

MODERN ERA (before 1939):
• 1517–1917, the land was part of the Ottoman Empire.
• 1917–1948, it was administered by Britain under the British Mandate for Palestine, granted by the League of Nations.
THE JEWISH ZIONIST MOVEMENT LOOKING FOR A HOMELAND TO CALL THEIR OWN
In 1939, some of their options they investigated were:
• Uganda (British East Africa),
• Birobidzhan (Soviet Union),
• Madagascar,
• Argentina and
• Western Australia (Kimberley region).
In considering Western Australia as a Jewish homeland, it was accepted by the Western Australia State government and rejected by the Federal Government, eventual establishment the State of Israel in the Middle East.
1948 STATE OF ISRAEL WAS FORMED

• Following the UN partition plan of 1947 and the end of the British Mandate, Israel declared independence on May 14, 1948.
CONCLUSION
•  Before 1939 there was no modern country named Israel — only the ancient kingdoms and then control by foreign empires.
• In ANTIQUITY, there was  land historically called Palestine.

ISSUE 1
Israel does not have a long-standing historical link to the land known a modern day Israel.
It has no legal foundation, in the League of Nations in 1919, a covenant that was part of the Versailles Treaty, the Palestine Mandate there is a provisional recognition as an independent state. A state for everyone, a state for 'All" the people on that land and not for any particular racial group.
So the idea that Israel is a Jewish State, by definition is not.

• Israel cannot continue to racially, discriminate and dominate over the Palestinians.
• Religeous and racial discrimination of one group over another group is unlawful as apartheid.
• Israel are required to immediately withdraw from Palestinian lands.
• Isreal occupying these lands is against International Laws.
• THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY MUST COMPLY WITH ICJ RULING AND THE UNITED NATIONS RESOLUTION THAT ENDORSES THE COURT DECISIONS.
• Palestinians never occupied Israeli lands.
ISSUE 3 ISRAELI PALESTINIAN WARS
Each of these wars were initiated by Israel forceful occupation of Palestinian lands and the racial and religious persecution and discrimination of the Palestinian population.
• 1947–1949: First Arab–Israeli War
• 1967: Six-Day War
• 1987–1993: First Intifada
• 2000–2005: Second Intifada
• 2008–2009: Gaza War (Operation Cast)
• 2012: Operation Pillar of Das wdefense
• 2014: Gaza War (Operation Protective)
• 2021: May Gaza War (Operation Guardian)
• 2023–2025: Ongoing HAMAS War
