De annexatie van Crimea was al sinds 2003 in voorbereiding, putin had zelf al het plan om Yanakovich opzij te zetten en delen van Ukraine te pakken, en putin gebruikt zelfde "fascisten" drogredenen als hij in 1990 voor Moldavie gebruikte om Transnistrie te pakken.


Rus trollen zijn onderdeel van kremlinmedia, dus iedereen die t opneemt voor rusland, putin of kremlin, kan je beter niet mee in discussie gaan, is zonde van je tijd,  en hoef je maar maar 1 ding van te geloven, het TEGENDEEL.

A nuclear Ukraine would have kept east-Europe peacefull, was this a mistake

of the USA, or did the defenceindustry in USA did it on purpose, to have

a future cold war candidate!?

The last seems likely , seeing the strange position USA took after little green men appeared in Crimea, Ukraine.

At that time I wrote in dutch media: it's gonna be the cubacrises OR the bosnian war with 100.000 deaths.

USA choose the last option, they refused to call it invasion, and pressed NATO and with Merkel as german "Chamberlain" (sarcasm!) EU to do nothing but sanctions.

Second mistake after collapse SovietUnion, was to give UNSC seat to russia.

Soviet-Union was a superpower, russia without ex-sovietstates wasn't..

And now we know USA and russia regard Budapest Memorandum as "another" piece of paper, while UK is at least willing to act accordingy, a year too late...

Reading Bloodlands by Timothy Snyder you can see the scenario putin plays,

annexation of Crimea was prepared from 2003, novagazeta.ru published that putin himself wanted to oust Yanakovich and take parts of Ukraine, but the Ukrainians beat him to that.

What will happen next?  In a hybrid way, putin tries to lift sanctions and in meantime get what he wants, Mariupol and East- and South Ukraine, Baltics, and then he goes after all oil-gas field even in entire Black Sea, even risking war with Romania and Turkey and other countries that are drilling there.

So in my view, both russia but also USA is too blame for present situation.

But the USA still can proof me wrong..and I hope they do...then I will apologize for my assumptions, but for now giving nukes from Ukraine to russia by Clinton, and removing smaller weapons by senator Obama, was worst mistakes USA ever could have made, and I hope it was a mistake, and not a policy in the american interest.
